Mustangs Round Out Midwest Spring Invite

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Mount Mercy men's golf team rounded out the Midwest Spring Invite, recording a pair of eagles in the final round en route to a top-six finish.

The first eagle of the day came from Dylan Tan, who eagled the par four 15th, recording a two on the hole. Tan would go on to shoot even par on the back nine en route to a final round score of two-over. The second eagle came from Lincoln Beckett, carding a three on the par five first hole. 

Dominic McCain would fire off a pair of birdies on the back nine, shooting a round score of two over, good for a top-20 finish. Yong Junn had a remarkable tournament, finishing within the top-10 at two over par, good for a solo eighth position.

The Mustangs will return to the course at The Verhille Invite at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City next week.
