Mustangs Finish Third at Sagamore Shootout

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. - The Mustang men's golf team finished third in the Sagamore Shootout, only behind by seven shots to eventual winner Marian in Indiana.

Yong Junn finished first on the squad, firing a one over score of 73. Junn carded a one under score on the front nine capped off with a birdie on the ninth. Junn would card a pair of birdies on the back nine to go two over, ending with a total of one over. Dominic McCain and Ziwen Zhong each went three over par with scores of 75. McCain shot an even 36 on the back nine, bouncing back from three over on the front nine. Zhong would go one over on the front, followed by two over on the back.

The final scoring golfer was Theo Baker, who shot an eight over score of 80. Baker improved his back nine score by two shots, shooting a 39 on the back nine to bounce back from a 41 on the front.

The Mustangs will return to the course at the Heart of America Championships, taking place next week.
