Mustangs Place Fourth at Heart of America Championships

MORAVIA, Iowa - The Mount Mercy men's golf team concluded their season with a fourth place finish at the Heart of America Championships, ending with a team score of 12 over par.

Junn Yong would finish first on the team, and in a tie for tenth overall after an even par finish. Yong would shoot even on his final round, highlighted by four birdies through his first five holes. Theo Baker was right behind him, finishing at one over par, good for a tie for 13th. Baker would card a pair of birdies on his first two holes, while also carding a birdie on the par five 14th.

Ziwen Zhong ended his tournament in sole possession of 20th place at three over. Zhong would card a birdie on the 14th, making him the third Mustang to birdie that hole. The final scoring card came from Dominic McCain, who ended with a score of eight over. McCain carded a pair of birdies on his opening holes, and also carded a pair of birdies on the back nine.
