Bio

Doermann, a native of Tipton, Iowa, joined the women's basketball coaching staff in the summer of 2019. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 1987 and a master's from the University of Iowa in 1991. Doermann has coached youth sports in Iowa, particularly basketball and softball, for more than 20 years. He also serves as Mount Mercy's vice president for human resources and operations.
