Runner-up finish for women's bowling as Kolberg makes all-tournament team

ADDISON, Ill. -- The Mount Mercy women's bowling team, in their first event since the holiday break, rolled to a runner-up finish at the Kegel-ISBPA MIdwest Collegiate Classic. Megan Kolberg finished fourth to nab all-tournament honors.

Teams bowled five team games and 20 Baker games to decide a champion, and it was SCAD Savannah that finished at the top with 8,503 pins. The Mustangs were next with a total pinfall of 8,441. Rounding out the top five were St. Ambrose (7,874), Lindenwood (7,907), and Saint Xavier (7,897).

In five games, Kolberg ended up fourth with 1,011 pins and a 202.2 average. The top three included Grace Bringham (1,064/212.8) and Lara Kurt (1,016/203.2) of SCAD Savannah and Brooke Binder of Concordia (1,013/202.6).
