Lyon Earns 2025 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association has published their NAIA Academic Honor Roll list, and graduate student Mollie Lyon has found herself on the list.

Lyon, who transferred to Mount Mercy last spring, is currently majoring in Buiness Management. To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater on a 4.0 scale. Lyon marks the first Mustang women's lacrosse player in the program's young history to earn Academic Honor Roll honors by the IWLCA.

On the field, Lyon appeared in each game this past season while contributing 14 points to the Mustang offense, scoring eight goals and recording six assists, while going 3-4 on free position shot goals.
