Gadient Meets NAIA “B” Standard in 800 at Fighting Chance Invite

JOLIET, Ill. - Mount Mercy's women's track and field team had one athlete meet the NAIA "B" standard to qualify for the NAIA Outdoor Championships at the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite, hosted by the University of St. Francis. 

Corinne Gadient beat the "B" standard by 1.32 seconds and finished fourth in the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.18.

The Mustangs will now prepare for the NAIA Outdoor Championships, which begin Wednesday, May 21.
