Women's Cross Country Finishes Third in Seminole Valley Stampede
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa | The 21st-ranked Mustang's Women's Cross Country team finishes third in the Women's 6K race at the Seminole Valley Stampede with 84 points.
Kalin Rotzoll led the Mustangs after finishing seventh with a time of 22:47.9. Following right behind Rotzoll was Abby Knepper, finishing eighth with a time of 22:48.6. Finishing the top five for the Mustangs was J'Lyn Knutson (12) at 23:00.0, Emma Althoff (26) at 23:40.9, and Kayla Overton (31) at 23:48.6.
The sixth-ranked Lewis Flyers came out on top to win the meet with an overall score of 66 points, followed by 22nd-ranked Aquinas Saints (74), 21st-ranked Mount Mercy Mustangs (84), 11th-ranked St. Francis Fighting Saints (95), and Missouri Baptist (145).
The Mustangs will return to the course on Saturday, Oct. 26th, for the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic at the Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Neb. The expected start time is set for 10:00 AM CDT.
