Mustangs rebound from halftime deficit to defeat Ravens

ATCHISON, Kan. -- After trailing by one at the half, Mount Mercy blasted Benedictine after the break and defeated the Ravens, 77-63, in Saturday's Heart of America Athletic Conference men's basketball game at Ralph Nolan Gymnasium.

The win gave the Mustangs (8-19, 7-16 Heart) their first regular season sweep of the Ravens (8-17, 7-15 Heart). Mount Mercy has one game left this season, hosting Central Methodist (19-7, 15-7 Heart) on Senior Day this Saturday at 4:00 pm at Hennessey Recreation Center.

Ryan Bartley posted a double-double with his sixth 30-point game of the season. He poured in 33 points, just two shy of his career high, and grabbed 10 rebounds. Anthony Horton, Jr. added 13 points and four assists. Rusmir Hamzic finished with 12 points and eight boards, Aidan Yamilkoski 12 points and six rebounds.

The Ravens were led by Brycen LaRue's 14 points and six rebounds. Gino Corridori tallied 10 points and seven boards, Ahmad Louis nine points, five rebounds, and four assists.
